**Objects:** (I) TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST THE RELIEF OF ALL PERSONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WHO HAVE UNDERGONE A LARYNGETOMY OPERATION. (II) TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM CANCER BY THE PROMOTION AND ASSISTANCE OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND CURE THEREOF.

**Activities:** The Cancer Laryngectomee Trust was formed in 1985 by Sydney Norgate, a laryngectomee. Working throughout the UK it provides help, support and information in response to a wide variety of problems and needs experienced by sufferers from cancer of the larynx and their carers.
