**Objects:** TO ADVANCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE SCIENCE OF FILTRATION, SEPARATION, CLARIFICATION, DUST CONTROL AND RELATED PROCESSES AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC DISSEMINATION OF TECHNICAL INFORMATION RELATING TO FILTRATION AND BY ENCOURAGING CO-OPERATION AND EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN PERSONS CONCERNED WITH FILTRATION. **Activities:** The Filtration Society promotes the use of filtration in all Industrial Applications and promotes new technology and technical developments to interest groups in the UK and abroad. The Filtration Society also monitors technical papers presented at research level and makes a number of awards to students and academics.
