Once again, the Covid pandemic impacted on what we were able to do this year. Within the constraints imposed by the situation we continued our ministerial work as priests by helping the local Italian community.
Whenever possible, we hire the church of Kensal Rise for religious services, as we have done in the past. Our work extends to religious services in other local churches.
Subject to the restriction imposed, we hire school halls for community events, which are organized by a committee of volunteers elected by members of the Italian association.
Our premises in London continued to be used for overseas students as well as for meetings etc of the Italian association which, notwithstanding the current situation continues to support us with their generosity. The income from lettings continued to benefit from the restoration works that were carried out some years ago.
As in past years we continued to support our missions in various parts of the world, in particular the Philippines and the Côte d’Ivoire. The money we sent helped our students there with accommodation, food, clothes, books etc.
