TREASURER'S REPORT ST THOMAS MORE SCHOOL ASSOCIATION FOR YEAR ENDED 31 AUGUST 2021 First of all, I would like to thank our Chair, Frances Rattigan. and ail Con]mittee Members for their contribution to tbe School Association during the last y¢ar. We op¢ned the year with a healthy current bank account balance of £14,167.76 (reconciled £14.158.74). OUT ongoing fijndraising schemes have rdised the following amounts: 100 Club £665 SuperniaTk¢t Voouchers £775 Easy Fundraising £67 Amazon Smile £140 As always many thanks to: Clare Trowbridge for rum]ing the 100 Club Jo Cosgrove and Sandra KeaT for running the supennarket voucher scheme so 8u¢¢essfully Despite, Covid-19 causing some havoc with the fundraising this year, the FfA have Proved as always adept at rising to meet the challenge. Much of the fundraising moved online. Frances Rattigan managed to organise a virtual Chrislrnas Fayre earning us £1336 (including the raffle). Our summer fayre was also successful albeit only run for the cbildren &s parents were not allowed on site due to ovid-19 restrictions, raising £1,150. Other key events were.. Bag2School £324 Rotary- Santa £450 Easter Egg Hunt £268 Gratefijl thanks to Clare Trowbridge. Colleen Duggan and their helpers for their generosity in organising these events- and the many people who donated and made them such a success. Despite Covid, another very busy and suc¢essful year has gone by and I am delighted to Teport that the total funds raised this year wcre £8,555.07 whioh is &stonishing considering Covid-19 restrictions. As always a sincere thanks to all the Class Reps who managed to convince parents and carers to help rdise funds through these events and to all those involved in running and organising them. The total amount donated to the school was £6.337.86, leaving £16.375.95 to carry forward for futur¢ use. A full breakdown is outlined in the accounts which accompany this reporL Therefore, I can report a closing reconciled cash balance for the end of August 2021 of £16.375.95. I have reviewed the cash position and the years accounting transactions all of which are completely satisfactory. I would like to commend the association's treasurer on the detailed and fully documented accounts.
