HFSA AGM 29/9 Treasurer’s Report

We started with a balance of £58, 736 in the kitty and ended with a balance of £77, 658.

£24,292 was raised during the year 22/23. Two thirds of that total could be attributed equally to the fireworks and the summer fayre. The balance was made up of the Quiz, the Surprises Room and Your School Lottery which contributed a further 16% between them and after that the after school Friday events, 11%. The other events of note were the Discos, Laura Royce’s photo session and the Christmas mugs.

Costs incurred during the year included the Leavers’ Party, Bank set up charges when we changed banks to Metro, Thankyous to those leaving the committee, the subscription to Parent Kind and the fee to the accountant for submitting the accounts to the Charity Commission.

RESPECTIVE RESONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER
The trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The trustees consider that an audit is not required for th Charities Act 1993 and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to :
