**Objects:** To encourage and promote education in every way, in particular the education of children in accordance with the philosophy and methods of the late Dr Maria Montessori, promoting the Montessori philosophy and values as a way to benefit society, providing relevant training, education, funding and research into the value of educational practice and aligned activities, and the particular effectiveness of a ‘Montessori’ education, and making awards to support the development of the Montessori approach.

**Activities:** The Charity achieves its objectives through relationships and grants to other organisations, especially to St Nicholas Montessori Training Ltd, trading as Montessori Centre International (MCI) and smaller project collaborations with NGOs and community providers. Bursaries and professional development support projects to expand access to Montessori are also supported.
