Activities
The Association was active in holding its conference in Birmingham in 2018 - attracting 800 delegates - its largest to date. The organisation was also closely involved with the British Academy, supporting Writing Workshops in a range of locations including Accra, Lagos, Luanda, Nairobi, and Lalibela.
Objects: To Advance African Studies Particularly In The United Kingdom, By Providing Facilities For The Interchange Of Information And Ideas And The Co-Ordination Of Activities By And Between Persons And Institutions Concerned With The Study Of Africa.
