The Award is given every two years to persons in their first ten years of post qualification planning experience who wish to visit another country to that of their residence for a short period to study some particular aspect of town & country planning. It was established by Sir George Pepler, one of the founder members of the Royal Town Planning Institute, and offered for the first time in 1973.
Objects: The Provision Of An Award To Enable Persons To Visit Great Britain Or For Persons Resident In Great Britain To Travel Abroad In Order To Study The Theory And Practice Of Town And Country Planning Or Particular Aspect Thereof.
