Activities

A national Information and Advice Service including Helpline, Assessment service, Fact Sheets and various regular publications for children with high learning potential and their parents. Training, workshops and events for children and young people; parents and carers and professionals. A network of branches and Explorer Clubs throughout England, Wales and N Ireland.

Objects: The principal objects for which the Association is established are to facilitate the development of children who are of outstanding intelligence and/or creative capacity (gifted children), including:(a) enabling gifted children to access a suitable education likely to develop to the full their respective abilities;(b) supporting the social and emotional development of gifted children; and(c) promoting the development and implementation of effective educational provision for gifted children.
