**Objects:** TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN AND SUPPORT A PUBLIC LIBRARY OF BOOKS, PICTURES AND OTHER ITEMS CONNECTED WITH THE PROMOTION OF KNOWLEDGE OF, OR EDUCATION IN, OR RESEARCH IN SUBJECTS RELATED TO THE MOUNTAIN REGIONS OF THE EARTH OR OTHER BODIES OF THE UNIVERSE OR RELATED TO ALLIED SUBJECTS.

**Activities:** Operation of the Alpine Club Library; providing care of - and access to -  the Alpine Club's collections of historic books, papers, archives, artefacts, photographs, and paintings. Open to the public on several days each week except during the month of August and the Christmas - New Year holiday time; for fixed appointments.
