The amount of money available for grants is limited so not all qualfying appli￿nts can ieceive a grant. Achlevements and perfomianee The charity has continued to support women graduates who seek to advance their educatton and lo proThKJte higher education and wKler kaming. Applications for financial assistance come from woman from all over the world aThl from different backgrounds. Thelr need for finanaal supp(xt ranges from serious famlty madlcal problems, abuse, parents not able to continue with supp)rt and polit￿1 pressures - the list is varied and long. The delemiination ol these women to cOmp￿te their PhDs is exemplary and inspirin9. The charity is proud to hava been abl? to support the women by awarding granls to help wth their Maintenan￿ costs. Govemors have been extreffety concerned of the effect of the Covhd pandemic on the economic clrcumstances of many women Fw)sigraduates arvj their a￿"Ity to complete their studies on a timely basis. In response, the Board approved one•off increases lo the grants budgels lo provKle additional 8UPPOrt to women whose income and studies had teen affected by the Covid pandemic.
