Vve were able to run our annual Christrnas Card fundratser where parents |
can buy ChrÈstmas Cards. gfft wrap and tags that were personalised by ,:
.' their children through on online company.
The Christmas Fair, our biggest fundraiser in our school calendar had to
', be moved to online. as we couldn't hold it indoors. We carried on the ',
i traditton of the diFFerent year groups producing different goods to sell, only I
diiference teing they could only sell online. Thankfully we were also able !
', to hold our main raffle where V￿ distributed the tickets in sthool bags and i
they ￿Ere retumed wÈth the monies into a dedicated PTA mailbox that we I
put up ouiside the school gates. We Nvere also able to produ￿ our annual ',
school calendar for parents whith we sokl on a preorder basis through ,:
', parenty)ay. Although VE ￿ren1 as Su￿ssful as previous year5 With our .:
Fair, we were still able to raise £4.305. That coupled with the raffle and ,
',¢alendar we managed to raise £8.866. which surpassed all our,:
expectations!
, Wrth the pandemic still in pla￿. we launched a Christmas jaunt, whiGh i
,. was a sponsored walk for all the sthool families to walk a distano of their I
thotce weartng a Chrisfrnas jumper.
,, We finally ended the year with an online panto - a tre* we gifted to the ,
,, school for the thildren to watch during the day at sthool in their cFasses.
In the SprirKJ Tenn. we ran a srnarties challenge - where each child was ,
given a tub of smarties tefore the holKlays, which they were able to enjoy ,,
,, before retuming them filled with loose change. This proved to be very ,.
, popular and lucrative fundraiser.
l Finally for the end of that tenn they also took part in another dress down I
day- wacky dothes day.
, Covid has affected our ability to fundraise on a huge scate and what
', would have been our next bl￿est fvndraiser, our summer fair, was pui on ':
hold but we launched a historical trail around Beckenham to see us
' through to the start of the new year. This we opened up to the residents of ,
i Beckenham to also join in arKI leam about where they lived.
As we move forward and away from the restfictions set upon us, we are
hopeful that we wtll be ablè to tun wtth the events we had wanted to
', previously and look forward to the coming year being a It￿e more fruitful
I for our tharity.
