**Objects:** TO FURTHER THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE MUSICAL EDUCATION OF STUDENTS IN THE HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY YOUTH MUSIC GROUPS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL.  THE ASSOCIATION SHALL NOT SEEK TO AFFECT THE POLICIES OF THESE MUSIC GROUPS IN MUSICAL OR MANAGERIAL MATTERS.

**Activities:** Financial support for the musical activities of the members of Hertfordshire County Youth Music Groups e.g. for attendance at courses or for instrument use. From 21st October 2009 incorporated the Brenda Kitchingman Foundation, also known as BKF, which functions within the framework and objectives of the Friends.
