FELTONFLEET SCHOOL TRUST LIMITED (LIM£0 BYGUARANTEEI REPORT OFTHE INDEPENDENT AUDITORSTOTHE MEMBERS OF FELTONFLEETSCHOOL TRusr FOR THEYEAR ENDED31AUGUST2Q25 Our approach wa5 as follows= We identified areas of laws and regulations that could asonablY be expetted to have a material effect on the Inanaal statements from our general sector experience, and through di5CUs5ion with the govemors and other management las required by auditing standards), and discussed with the governors and other management the policles and procedures regarding compliance with law5 and regulètlons (see below); We identified the following areas as those most likely to have such an effect.. health and safèty- General Data Proteetron Regulation IGDPRI.. fraud,. bribery and corruption, school inspections, keeping ¢hlldren safe In edutstion. DBS checks, and employment law. Auditing standards lirnit the quIred audit procedures to identifv non-compliance with these law5 and regulations to enquiry of the 8ovem¢rs and other management and inspection of regulatory and legal coryespondence, if any. The identified artual or suspected non-¢ompllancè was not sufficiently significantto our audit to result in our response being identified as a key audit matter. We considered the legal and regulatory frameworks directly applicable to the financial slatements reporting framework IFRS 102, the Companies Act 2LKJ6 and the Charities Art 20111 and the relevant tax compllance regulations in the UK. We considered the nature of the charitsble cornpany's operations, the control environment and financial performance. We ¢ommunl¢ated identified laws and regvlatlons throughout our team and remained alert to any indications of non-compliance throughout the audit. WÈ tonsidÈrÈd the procedures and controls that the charitable company has established to address risks identified, or that otherwise prevenL dèter ahd detect fraud,. and how senior management monitors thtsse procedures and contrtrls. Based on this understanding we designed our au¢SIt procedures to identify hon-¢ompliance with such laws and regulations. Where the risk was considered to be higher, we performed audit procedures to address each Sdentilied fraud risk. These pr(Kedures included.. testing manual journals,- revlewlng the financial ststemtnt disclosures and testlng to supportlng documentstion,. pertorming analytical procedures., and enqulring of management. ahd were designed to provlde reasonable assurance that the hnancial 5taternentswere Iree from fraud or error. Owing to the inherent limitations of an audit, there is an unavoidable rlsk that we may not have detected some material misstatèments in the financial statements, even though we have properly planned and performed our aydit in accordance with auditing standards. For example, the further removed non-compliance with laws and regulations lirre8ularitie51 isfrorn the events and transactions refletted In the financial statements. the less likely the inherently Ilmited procedures required by auditing Standards would identify it. Thè risk is also greater regarding irregularities occurring duè to fraud rather than error, as fraud involves Intentional concealment. forgery. tolluslon, omisslon or misrepresentation. We are not responsible for preventing non-compliance and cannot be expected to detert non<omplian¢e wlth all laws and regulations. Use of our report This report is made solely to the CharitablÈ Company's members, as a body, in accordance with Chapter 3 of Part 16 of the Companie5 Act 2W6.
