The Charity issues small grants to students going on to Higher Education (excluding A Levels) or those undertaking apprenticeships to assist with the cost of books, tools or equipment. It is for those aged under 25, who live in the Ancient Parish of Bisley (the area includes all of the civil parish of Bisley with Lypiatt, including Eastcombe and Oakridge, most of Bussage and part of Chalford).
Objects: 1. In Awarding To Boys And Girls In The Ecclesiastical Parishes Or District Ofbisley All Saints, Bussage St. Micheal, Chalford Christ Church, France Lynchst. John The Baptist, And Oakbridge St. Bartholomew Exhibitions Tenable At Any Secondary School Training College For Teachers, University Or Other Institution Of Further (Including Professional And Technical) Education Approved By The Trustees. 2. In Providing Financial Assistance, Outfits, Clothing, Instruments Or Books To Enable Beneficiaries On Leaving School, University Or Any Other Educational Establishment To Prepare For Or Assist Their Entry Into A Profession, Trade Or Calling. (3) For Otherwise Promoting The Education (Including Social And Physical Training) Of Beneficiaries.
