Within the limits prescribed by this Scheme, the Trustees shall have full power to make rules for the award of benefits, including rules as to value and period of tenure of the awards, and qualrfications as well as method of ascertainment and selection of candidates. The charity's objects and policy has been the granting of bursaries to students entering further education for the tenm of the course undertaken. and one-off grants for tools and other equipment to those starting apprenticeships or work training on the job. The area covered is the ancient parishes of Elm, Emneth and Friday Bridge with Coldham. The net income is divided in accordance with the objects of the Fund. The trustees have regard to the charity Commissions guidance on public benefit when making charitable grants in accordance with the objects. Section D Achievements and performance Maintenance has been n8eded on the Property of Squir8 House. All maintenance has been carried out in a timely manner, All rent has been received in a timely manner and there have been no problems that needed to be dealt with on the property side. Section E Financial review The policy of the Trustees is to consider the net income received each year is available to be distributed to beneficiaries. The Trustees are mlndful that although the property owned by the charity is newly built funds will need to be reserved for maintenance. The majority of the endowment is invested in the new build house, and 20 acres of land which was part of the original endowment.
