The principal activity of the company is the running of Whitwell Hall Country Centre for boarding and camping for school residentials. To relieve those in need by reason of their youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage by such means as the trustees determine
Objects: The Advancement Of Education For The Public Benefit. In Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise The Charity May: (a) Maintain And Develop Whitwell Hall And Estate So That Young People Can Attend Residential And No-Residential Courses And Learning Activity Programmes Concerning The Ecology And Management Of The Estate And Elsewhere In The Region; (b) Provide Support And Encourage Those Activities Which Teach Young People To Become Self-Reliant Members Of The Community And To Understand And Enjoy The Countryside; (c) Make Facilities Available For The Training Of Teachers And Group Leaders And Provide Educational Activities For Groups To Fulfil A Wide Range Of National Curriculum Requirements
