hear a message proclaimlng Jesu5 Chri51 and his Kingdom, though we resetve the right lo refuse entry
where and when necessary. We have 21 congreg8tions or fellowship groups that meo1 wagkly and a
lurthÈr 15 that mèèt on a l&ss frequent basis throughout the UK and Ireland. Our servlces in Ihesg
congregations providg a $819 anvironmenl lor people lo celebrate tho Church's beliefs.
Experienced local pastoral workers provide support lor people through biblical counselling, and, In Ihe
case of ordainéd mlnlstry, Ihrough parforming mlnist8rial duties such as wedding5. funerals. and
offering general assistance where possible or whèr8 needs havtr been gxpressad. Ministers and
approved pastoral workars ara oftan askèd lo give biblical counsel and comfort lo the Sick and leminally

and lailh. The Belong magazine helps lo en¢ourage our exlsling members by developing their fallh
through toplcal articles and providing updates about ovr ¢urrtsnl projects and 8clivltias. These is no

GCI UK is a member organisation ol the Evangelical Alliance and many of ils congr8galions are
members of Ihe Churches Together network in their respective areas. GCI UK 15 keen on working wilh
othèr Churches and erganlsalions to further its mission of Llving and Sharing the Gospel.

consistently reaching ils intended audience. This problem was exacerbated by the Covid pandemic

also meanl Ihal copi88 were no long8r able to be lèll in a number of venuos1o.o. libraries and waiting
rotsmsl.
During the year, including during Covid r8lated lockdowns, thrèè of our congragallons offered support
lor homeless and low-income families a soup kitchen waB offered in Llanelli and homtrl$$s outrèach
initiatives look place In Market Harborough and Glasgow.
The Church also sponsored several of our volunl8èr$ and •mploy88s in the ar•a of Iheolooical
educallon, both wlth local UK Instltutlons1o.g. the Queen's Foundallon. Birrningharnl as wèll as our

are pleased we were able to go ahead with our Adventure Camp Ifor children aged 7-131. Adventure

lor the August b8nk holiday wetrkend. The camp ran a number of activitles such a5 go-karting, Christlan
Ilving, tunnelllng, soap maklng, archery and pebble palnllng.

The Church alsts continued lo run Its Llfe Club project whlch teaches public speaking skills lo all age
groups. Geoff Sole, who runs the project, continuès to advlse GCI Gongregalions around the world with
respect lo running Lifè Club5 8nd has lacililated gelling the Life Club manual Iranslaled into a number
of18ngiJages. In 2021 there was, lor the first time, an International Llle Club that look place via Zoom
and lealured speakers Irom Ghana, Malawi, Kenya, Madagascar and tha UK.
Admlnlstratlon & Manag•m•nt
In 2021 the leadership 51ructure ol the Church was Changed from a thr8e-p8rson National Minlstry Team
lo a National Ministry Leader. This change in structure allowed a wider land Gonsequenlly more diversel
team structure lo be used. Subsequently. the Pasloral Worker role changed from a pari-time role to a
fvll lime Regional Pastor role. The aim of this latter change was to reflect workload expectstion5 8nd to
Incrèas6 the support given to our ctsngregalions.
During the year there were some changes in employad parsonnèl. In part￿cUlar, the Church would like
to welcome Anthony Dady who began a5 Regional Pastor in August 2021 and to say thank you and
goodbye to Richard Fow18r and David Gibb5, both of whotn left empltsyment in the first hall of 2021.
