21 Corporation Tax
The charity is exempt from tax on income and gains falling within section 505 of the Taxes Act 1988 0r section 252 of the Taxation of Chargeable Gains Act 1992 to the extent that these are applied to its charitable objects.
22 Post Balance Sheet events (non-adjusting)
On 13[th] January St Albans Education Group announced the proposed merger with St George’s Ascot (Charity registration number 309088; Company registration number 924805) and on 23[rd] March with St George’s School Windsor Castle (Charity registration number 1100392; Company registration number 04347052), on completion the asset, liabilities and activities of will transfer to St Albans Education Group and on the 19[th] January Palmers Green High School (Charity registration 312629: Company registration 0537727) partnered with STAEG to help plan a managed and orderly closure, safeguarding the pupils education and preserving the legacy of the school.
