Activities

The Hallifax Trust provides grants and bursaries primarily for the primary school serving the parish of Shimpling, also for people under the age of 25 who either attended Shimpling School or whose parents live in Shimpling. If there are any funds left in any year not required for the above it may be used for charitable purposes for the general benefit of the residents of Shimpling.

Objects: The Trustee Shall Apply The Income Of The Charity After Defraying The Proper Cost Charges And Administration And Management Of The Charity In The Following Ways And In The Following Order Of Priority(a)in Or Towards Providing Such Special Benefits Of Any Kind Not Normally Provided By The Local Authority For Shimpling Voluntary Controlled School Or Any Other School In Themaintained Sector Substantially Serving Serving The Parish Of Shimpling As May From Time To Time Be Agreed Between The Trustees And The Governors Of The School Concerned; (For Details See Files)
