The PTA host a number of events such as the Summer and Christmas Fetes which are aimed at enhancing existing pupil/family relations within the school as well as encouraging other local residents to participate/attend.

We hold several events through the year which are aimed solely at the parents and the local village community and this is usually done in the form of Quiz nights which are very successful.

**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

The PTA also hosted 2 school disco’s open to each year group and a film night.

As of March 2020 all of our usual fundraising activities were curtailed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and so none of our usual events took place this summer.

Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

The beginning of this financial and school year we were able to host some events such as a Colour Run, Christmas Fair, School disco, Film Night and PTA Quiz. In total from these events we managed to raise 7108.46. Unfortunately from March until July were in lockdown due to Covid-19 and so since this time no fundraising activities have been able to take place. Fortunately we have a school lottery which was still raising funds for us during this time and this contributed £3070 to our funds.

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

**Independent examiner's statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or

- • the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
