**Objects:** TO PROVIDE EDUCATION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE FOR STUDENTS, IRRESPECTIVE OF FAITH, THAT DEVELOPSINDEPENDENCE OF MIND, INDIVIDUAL SPIRITUALITY BASED ON AN UNDERSTANDING OF ANGLICAN TEACHING AND RESPECT FOR OTHER FAITHS, ANDAN APPRECIATION OF THE IMPORTANCE OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.  IN PURSUING THESE OBJECTIVES, THE COLLEGE SHALL HAVE REGARD TO THE SOCIAL, RELIGIOUS AND EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT OBTAINING FROM TIME TO TIME.

**Activities:** Marlborough College is incorporated by Royal Charter and registered as an education charity.  The College provides education for boys and girls for the ages 13-18.  The number of pupils in the College averaged 924 of whom 888 were boarders and 36 were day pupils. Under its grant making policy the total number of pupils receiving fee assistance in the academic year 2014/15 was 119.
