This ancient charity is for the benefit of children and students residing in the ancient parish of South Stoke and Woodcote, who proceed through the state system of education. Children leaving primary school receive a book token, those proceeding to 6th form education receive a cheque. All at university receive a cheque every year.
Objects: 1) Provision Of Prizes And Rewards To Public Elementary School Children Resident In The Beneficial Area.2) Awards To Encourage Children To Remain At School.3) Maintenance Of Exhibitions For Further Education.4) Maintenance Of Evening Classes Or Lectures Of Technical Instruction.
