It is<br>run entirely on a voluntary basis and<br>as such, no person receives any<br>payment for the hours spent working<br>at the pool or behind the scenes. This<br>is what has enabled the facility to<br>operate successfully at the heart of<br>the village for 54 years. Most of our<br>regular volunteers have been helping<br>for years and some of our older<br>members have been volunteering<br>since the PSA was founded! We have<br>also been able to offer voluntary<br>experience to 3 young people<br>undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh<br>Awards. The total number of regular<br>volunteers is approx.44 with<br>additional Ad hoc help provided by<br>members if required. The<br>swimming pool continues provides<br>much needed physical, mental and<br>social benefit to the community,<br>particularly to our older members and<br>parents of young families who use the<br>facility to meet up with friends. We<br>are particularly pleased to be able to<br>support some top-level athletes in<br>Underwater pool hockey and Triathlon<br>by providing much needed training<br>time.<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>




## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21 The Treasurer reported a surplus of<br>financial position at the  income over expenditure of £17716 at<br>end of the period the AGM for the year ending<br>30/9/2022. Current cash in hand was<br>£103681. Apart from the usual<br>running costs, the Association<br>invested in some new pool covers at a<br>cost of £5950.
