The visit was a thorou8h and Pfofesslonal process. designed to a55ess every aspect of school
lffe - from teaching and leaming to pastoral care. leadetship, and the overall wellbeing of
pupils. Inspectors obserrfed le550ns, spoke to puplls and examined samples of pupils, work
and currlculum documentatlon.
Discusslons were held wtth members of staff and govemors (Chair and Safe8uardin8}.
Inspectors ob5eryed some extra-cufrtcular artivitles and visited facilities for pupils of all a8es,
together with leamin8 SUPPOrt and educatlonal resource areas. In addition, responses of
parents and staff to prtrinspection questions were considered.
The Inspection report commended every a5Prft of school Ilfe. noting a culture of excellence
supported by strong leadership, hi8h*uality te%hin& and a dear commitment to pupils,
wellbeing and devek)pment. Teaching was highlighted as consistently ambitious and
engagin& enablin8 every child to be both challenged and supported to achieve stron8
outcome
The Govemors are pleased with the outwme and are satisfied that actions contlnue to be
taken to further increase and Improve provision across the entire sthool.

Blckley Park School Associatlon (BPSA) contlnues to provide de(ficated and invaluable support
to the School through a wide range of voluntary fundraising and communlty activitles
thro￿gh¢xrt the year. It5 Sustained commitment has resulted in significant financial
contributlons to key school projects. wlth fvrther pledge5 of 5UPPOrt readity forthcoming for
firture initiatives.

Followlng a perlod of careful consideration by the Board of Governors. plans have been
approved for Bickley Park Sthool to 5oln the Sevenoaks Famlly of Schools as part of
tharftable merger durlngthe financlal year 202512026.
Bickley Park Schoovs long-stsndlng and dose relationship with Sevenoaks Sthool makes this
a natural and strategrc step that brlngs together shared values and strong traditlons and
reflects a dear cornrnitment to delivering an outstandin8 ￿dePendeTrt education. The new
partnership will take effert In early Summer 2026, allowlng tlme for careful planning and
ontinuity.
The mer£er will see the trade and net assets of Blckley Park Sthool beln8 transferred to
Sevenoaks Sthool. The daily running of Bickley Park will continue as usual. with the same
Head. staff. values. and stron8commltment to pasioral care.
Key to thls strate8lc collaboration will be the broad enrlchment opportunities created for all
of the pupils at 8i(kley Parl whilst still providingthem the freedom of choice across the same

Bickley Park School wlll continue to be led by its current Head. and the existln8 Senior

The School Intends to contlnue to enhance the excellent links already gained with other local

assessed each term at the relevant committees.
The School continued to develop its business plan5 during 2024-25 through its Flnance and
General Purposes sub<ommittee, with changes endorsed at Board level. The School
maintains all essential business protection. human resotjrces, and financial policiès, whith are
regularly revlewed and updated as needed, alon85ide safeguarding policies.
RESERVES POUCY
The Sthool'5 policy is to manage its flnandal affairs prudently. within the framewth of a
budget approved by the Govemors. The nature of the S¢hoofs activlties determines that
reserves fund the property and other net assety and are held to cover unexpected shortfalls
in income.
The Governors a￿ confident that, in the event of a slgnificant short-temi funding reductlon.
the School's operations could continue whlle optlons for raislng additl¢)nal funds or reducing
costs are explored.
