The William Collins Charity was set up in the seventeenth century in Corhampton to provide for the education of children in the parish.The eligibility is restricted as follows:1.The subject of the grant should be under 25 years old.Thus,college and university students,as well as parents of school children,may apply.2. subject of the grant should live within,"the Bridge Benefice".

Objects: 1. The Benefit Of Persons Of Either Sex Who Have Not Attained The Age Of 25 Years, By The Provision Of Exhibitions Or Grants Tenable At Any Secondary School, Teacher Training College University Or Other Institution Of Further (including Professional And Technical) Education, Or Of Financial Or Other Assistance To Help Beneficiaries To Prepare For Or To Enter A Profession, Trade Or Calling. 2. Otherwise Promoting The Education (including Social And Physical Training) Of Beneficiaries.
