In accordance with our terms of engagement we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Blake’s Educational Charity for the year ended 31st December 2025 on pages four to seven from the accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.
As a practising member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), we are subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed at icaew.com/membershandbook.
This report is made solely to you, in accordance with our terms of engagement. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Blake’s Educational Charity and state those matters that we have agreed to state to you in this report in accordance with ICAEW Technical Release TECH08/16AAF. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than you for our work or for this report.
You have approved the financial statements for the year ended 31st December 2025 and have acknowledged your responsibility for them, for the appropriateness of the financial reporting framework adopted and for providing all information and explanations necessary for their compilation.
We have not verified the accuracy or completeness of the accounting records or information and explanations you have given us and we do not, therefore, express any opinion on the financial statements.

CHARITY DETAILS
Blake’s Educational Charity: Manor Farm, Hinton Ampner, Alresford, Hampshire, SO24 0LE, is an unincorporated trust registered with the Charity Commissioners (No. 307197) on 23 April 1963 and constituted by Charity Commission Scheme dated 6 February 1990.
The charity is managed by seven Trustees and all share responsibility for its management. The Trustees are satisfied that they have put in place satisfactory procedures concerning the proper governance and management and decision making of the charity.
The Trustees as at 31 December 2025 are as follows:

SUMMARY OF THE MAIN ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT
General maintenance of the Trust’s assets and distribution of the income from those assets in accordance with the objectives of the Trust.
SUMMARY OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TRUST
The Charity is an educational charity with the objective of promoting the education of children and young people (under the age of 25) who are resident in the Parishes of Bramdean and Hinton Ampner.
SUMMARY OF THE MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THE YEAR
The Charity awarded a total of 54 grants during 2025 (46 grants – 2024).
ACCOUNTANTS
Butler & Co have been appointed as Reporting Accountants and will be proposed for re-appointment.
