I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity llhe Trusf) for the year ended 31st March 2021.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation

2011 ('the Acr).
I report in resped of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out

Objectives and activities
On 16 May 2Th)7, the Charty COmmiss￿nerS agreed to a new scheme
for "Thè Fo** Grammar School Foundatlon" which combined three
. charities (the Exhibrtion FoundatKJn, the Primary School Trust and the
Communty Sthcrf)I Charity) under one board ofbustees. The trustees
were the existing Exhibrtp)n F￿ndation trustees together with
repfesentati%ts of the Primary School and Communty College. The
scheme alkjwed the board to sel up two subwcommittees.. one to
admintstef the inccrfne eamed by that portion of the 1997 endowmenl
allocated for the Oenefit of the Primary School". the ther to administer the
income eamed by that portK)n ofthe 1997 endowment all¢xated for the
benefft oflhe Communty Col*e togetherwith the nD)me from the 1922

shares portfolio is reviewed during the Annual General Meeting and

arKI Procedures" which was agreed at the inaugural meeting of the
F(wiey Grammar School Foundation held on 17 Juty 2007. Brewin
Dolphn Lynrted were commissioned by the newly fonned Tnjstees of the
Fowey Grammar School Foundation to Calculate the market value of all
investments {excepting prDperties) as al l November 2007 and from this
exewse quantify the exacl pefcentage to be used for all future purposes
as the proFK)rtion of investments (exduding properties) held jointly but
dire(*ty attributable to the Primary School sU￿e0mmIttee. The figure
e>*rapolated by Brewin Dolphin Lmrted was 5.52% ',this was endorsed
and recorcled in the minutes of the meeting held on 22 November 2007.

The College thanw its status and became the Fowey River Academy
on 1 June 2014. At the AGM in 2014 trustees decided that this would
not chan9e rfÉs relat¢onship wilh the tharily. The Charity Commission was
infomied of this (1ecisbon and replied on 12° Seplember 2014 to confirm
there were no object1￿5. On 1 September 2015 Fuwey Prfmary School
also became an a￿demy.

The Charity holds funds ¢n reserve to enable it to distribute the
known net fficome of the Charity for the financial year p￿cedIng
the Annual General Meetfftg. These fvnds are generalty
distributed between November and January following the date of
the Annual General Meet￿g durÈng which the thancial accounts
are adopted.
