In planning our activities for the year, we kept in mind the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings. 

During the year we managed to meet our objective of making the building available to the local community where Covid-19 restrictions allowed.

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

The trust has managed to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and is confident that the policies and procedures in place will allow the village hall to be available to all stakeholders for many years to come. 

The trust has successfully sourced grant funding to reduce energy costs and our carbon footprint. This grant funding was sourced in March 2022 and work will take place in the 2022/23 tax year.
