the charity as set out in its wanting to give young people instruction on a

and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Within the current year we have managed
to
get many cadets boating
using both Tilgate
Lake and Sea Cadets at Shoreham
Harbour.
This includes
rowing,
sailing and powerboating.
As well as the boating throughout
the Summer
Crawley Sea Cadets has taken responsibility for
a Adventure
Training
Centre which has been
utilised for walking,
mountain
biking and by
the Royal Marine Cadets and Junior Sea
Cadets.
As well as the cadets gaining
new skills and
qualifications
staff have also managed
to
develop themselves
by attending
courses
which has in turn benefitted
the cadet
experience at Crawley.
We have also seen the closure ofHorsham
Sea
Cadets and they in turn merged their staff and
cadets with Crawley which increased our cadet
numbers
and staff.
Crawley Sea Cadets has improved
and grown
over this financial
period which
will continue
to
do so over the coming years.
