All of<br>these contributions made by volunteers help<br>to raise vital funds to maintain the hall.|

This includes both local<br>residents and hirers from the wider area.|

## **Additional information:** 

|The charity’s principal<br>sources of funds (including<br>any fundraising)|Para 1.47|The main source of funds is through the hire<br>of the hall for events. We also receive<br>donations through holding our own events,<br>with the annual village bonfire and fireworks<br>event being the main fundraiser.<br>During the current year we received £39k<br>from Rother District Council's Village Halls<br>Energy Project, which enabled us to better<br>insulate the hall and install improved heating<br>from infra-red panels. This helps to<br>guarantee the future viability of the hall as it<br>improves its' ambience and should attract<br>more hirers.|

Responsibilities and basis
As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
