Haughley are to maintain the field, play
equipment and pavilion for the benefit of
the Parish and surrounding area. We have
a Bowls club, two Football clubs and
Scouts based at the Field.
The new storage facility was completed this
financial year thanks to the grants secured
from MSDC and the help of volunteers
through the playing field committee.
We continuing to grant fund for stop ball
nets for the football pitches and this is still
on going.
The Parish Council secured some funding
through there own accounts to upgrade the
play area and this has been a huge
success for the village.
We are looking to regenerate the pavilion
and this will take several hours of volunteer
time to secure the funding needed. We
have started a small sub-committee who
are working towards raising some funds for
