Achievements and performance
Things have gradually retumed to nonnal after the openiro of all facilities
following on from Covid. Booknng are still skw but are grajualty
increasing as pecpk's ￿nfthnce retums.
Committee m￿IngS have resumed in altemate months and we held our
AGM as nomal in March 2022.
We organised a celetrtion, a ￿lIldh, a hog roast and a communty
pl￿1C for ts platinum jubilee. The events were very well attènded and
muth appreoated after Iwo isola.ng years.
Our planned F￿Jects to refft our kitchenette in the main hall is still very
much on the agenda although pr&Jress has been slow due to the
pa￿leMiC. We are also hoping to l)uikl a viewing platfonn and disabled
pathway fix the sport f￿1 although this wÈll deperKI on the availability of
grant funding. Our cri¢*et dub is proposing to erect ball stop netting at
the edge of the playirvJ fiekl to slop wayward balls hitting neighbours,
passers by or property. This is important as the club is growing following
andemic.
