||||||East Harptree<br>Village Club|||
||||||The Club was forced todose during the|||
||||||prior year as a result ofthe Coronavirus|||
||||||restrictions.<br>Refurbishment<br>works are|under||
||||||way to enable the Preschool to utilise|the||
||||||space vacated<br>by the Village Club which||in|
||||||turn will then free up further space in the|||
||||||building<br>for other community<br>use. The|||
||||||exact nature ofthat use is under review by|||
||||||the Committee.|||
||||||Village Shop|||
||||||The village shop (an Industrial<br>and|||
||||||Provident Society for the benefit ofthe|||
||||||community)<br>renovated a redundant<br>part of|||
||||||the bulkfing<br>in 2008 and filled the gap left<br>after the dosure ofthe villa e's on<br>sho|||





|and post office. It is run entirely<br>by||

|volunteers<br>and includes a coffee shop. The||
|Village Shop served an important<br>role||
|through<br>the pandemic<br>and continues to be||
|a great asset to the community.||
|Solo Hair Salon||
|The hair salon provides a very valuable||
|service to the whole community<br>but is||
|particularly<br>beneficial for the older||
|members<br>ofthe community.||
|Premises Management||
|The users ofthe buildings<br>continue to||
|provide an income which enables us to||
|maintain<br>a large old bufiding<br>which is at the||
|heart ofa conservation<br>area.||
|During 2021/22 the main focus has been||
|on planning<br>the works for the conversion|of|
|the former Village Club space into space||
|that can be used for the Preschool.||
|The Hall continues to be cleaned<br>by part||
|time deaners and members<br>ofthe||
|Mana<br>ement Committee.||
