The trustees and the management commi�ee all met at the same mee�ngs to review the ac�vi�es hall charity. At the trustees mee�ng of 24 March 2025 (preceding the commi�ee mee�ng) is was agreed by the trustees: - 1.elect Hugh Ferris as trustee chair - 2.appoint Helen Priestley and Saleha Nisar as trustees - 3.delete David Ramsbo�om and Neil Bird as trustees; 4.delete the charity name _St Andrew's Parish Hal_ l and add _Old Headington Village Hall_ It was also agreed to review the governing document and objects of the charity. The following is the annual report for 2025 as agreed by the trustees and the hall management commi�ee at the joint 2025 Annual General Mee�ng of the hall charity (on 22 June 2026). ## People Mahliqa Nisar remained as Hall Manager. The charity con�nued to have the professional services of Zara Telkin and the use of the Xero accoun�ng so�ware pla�orm. The Hall Master system was used for the hall bookings. ## Finance The turnover of the charity in 2019 was £23,000 whereas in 2025 turnover was over £49,000. Managing our finances in a �mely and accurate way con�nued to be an essen�al part of the hall opera�on. The charity income is almost en�rely from room hire for a wide variety of classes and gatherings, the con�nued rental from the flat and parking.Expenditure (Administra�ve Costs) in 2025 remained high with improved staffing costs (accountancy and hall management), energy ,repairs and maintenance. Expenditure on groundworks was significantly lower following the large investments in 2024.The (1959) hea�ng distribu�on in the hall was subject to temporary breakdowns and discomfort to hirers. The Hall Master booking system experienced compa�bility issues. Measured drawings of the hall were completed along with an energy assessment by Brookes. Forward plans to enhance the hall remained at the conceptual stage. As always, the commi�ee needed addi�onal members to support any improvement plans From the Balance Sheet, the charity had capital and reserves of over £94,000 at year end. Strengths and weaknesses, opportuni�es and threats - 2025 The charity had an assured income from the flat (£15,300), an improved balance sheet and the unlimited demand for parking 1 of 2 OHVH - Charity Commission 2O25 (mainly from JR staff).The funds on deposit could enable a phased programme of improvement. Bookings, regular and ad hoc, remained stable and the charity con�nued to refuse bookings for weekend adult par�es. The opportuni�es to "grow" the charity as a business are limited given current demand and the demography of the area.
