## **BLISWORTH VILLAGE HALL AND PLAYING FIELD ASSOCIATION REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31st MARCH 2017 CHARITY REGISTRATION NUMBER 304161** 

**Objectives:** The primary aim of the association is to provide leisure facilities to the people living in the Blisworth village. The charity maintains the village hall and playing fields and collects revenue from the hire of the hall, rental of land for a telephone mast and running a raffle. 

**Organisation** : The board of trustees comprise:-

Ann North - Secretary

Anne Goss - BMC 

Gary Edwards - Football Club 

## **Representatives** : 

Pam Otten- Playgroup, Maureen Lucas -Caretaker,  Stan Tyrrell – Bowls, Ray Andrews -  Heritage, Estelle Rose – 250 Club, Fiona McKenzie - Women's Institute, Matt Goude – Blisworth Football Club, Janet Steeper – Blisworth Friendship Group. 

**Review of activities:** During the year the charity had a total income of £32,014 and expended £9,522 which resulted in a surplus of £22,492. The charity has accumulated funds in the bank of £79,499 which is available to meet the maintenance requirements of the village hall. In the forthcoming year it is intended to repair the Heritage window, provide cushions for the chairs and redecorate the areas frequently used and the front doors.
