The water of approx 2 acres is used by people as a fishing venue while the surrounding area is landscaped with facilities for picnics. Footpaths around the lake are used by dog walkers and pedestrians. This recreation area was given to the people of Watton by benefactors who wanted the people to have a unique leisure facility.
