Charity Structure
1 EP operates on a flat management structure. Decisions and charity directions are made by committee. Recruiting is conducted on an as needs basis. Trustees and volunteers are selected from the local community taking into account the skills and knowledge each individual can bring to the charity.
Objectives for 2021 – 2022
1. To reintroduce a cub section to 1EP following closure during the pandemic.
2. Consider the viability of a Scouts and Beaver section.
3. Maintain the group’s income from Slimming World.
4. Seek committee member replacements for treasurer, secretary, chairperson and new cub leaders.
5. Maintain the 1EP headquarter building in an operational state.
6. Seek new caretaker for the hall.
7. Ensure all statutory paperwork is completed.
Activities for 2021 to 2022.
1. Provide meeting facilities for Slimming world twice per week (all day Tuesday and the morning on Saturdays).
2. Cubs restarted on 1[st] January 2022.
3. Recruited two new cub leaders who joined in January 2022.
4. Planned future fund raising activities.

Achievements and Performance
Financial
Group reserves grew by 12% year on year. This was due to maintaining income from Slimming World and careful management of our cost base.
Obviously the local community benefits from the charity as it is able to provide Scouting for our young people. In addition to this the 1EP headquarters were used by Putney Mead Medical Centre and Heathbridge GP Practice as a COVID and Flu vaccination centre.
