The group exists to provide Scouting opportunities and related experiences to young people in Lambeth and surrounding areas. The activities undertaken during the period included.. Weekly meetings for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. Frequent water based activities (primarily on the River Thames during the summer months) Scout Association Training Awards Royal Yachting Association Training Awards At least one camp every month Participation in Royal Navy run Camps Attendance at Church Parades and representing Sea Scout Groups at national seniice for Seafarers at St Paul's Cathedral Participation in District Scout events and competitions Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) Participation in wider water based events, e.g. the Great River Race Summer Scout camps - in August 2023 the Scouts and Explorers spent almost 2 weeks on camp in The Netherlands.
