The Group is a Trust established under its rules which are cwimon to all Scouls.

The Group is managed by ￿ Group Execulive Committee. members ot wh
a￿ Ihe 'Chanty Trustees, of the Scout Group, which is an eduCat￿nal chanty As

to the Charity Commjssion as appropnate

aged 6 to 18. If there was a reducti{￿ in membership In a particular section or the

community. The Gro￿) has been estsbltshed since 1928 and In tr* cufrenl premises
since 1954.

attendance numbers recoyerin9 to pre-COVKJ levels This year we have surplus of

However when considcnng the financial situabon. VR must fO(￿S on maintsining our
income especially as energy Costs remain high.
Over ￿ lasl 4 years we have recruited armj lost three Group Treasurers, requin
myself as Ihe Group Chair to acl as Treasurer on each o¢¢as￿n
I have been Gr￿L￿ Chair Sin￿ September 2016 and I have deoded to step down a$
Chair io f￿5 on the important work of Treasurer We are currenuy searching for a
new Group Chair and also have a very good V￿e-ChaIr to fulfil this key role,
