**Objects:** EDUCATING GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN TO HELP THEM DEVELOP EMOTIONALLY PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY SO THAT THEY CAN MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THEIR COMMUNITY AND THE WIDER WORLD.

**Activities:** 1st Shirley Guides is for girls aged 10 - 14. They take part in exciting activities on Friday evenings and at special events or camps. Guides do adventure sports, play fun games, and take part in community and fund raising projects. Guides work together in Patrols and, with the support of adult Leaders, choose and run activities in line with the new programme as well as Interest badges.
