Scouts Banning BARMING SCOUT AND GUIDE GROUP Trustees Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2025 MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE YEAR Barming Scout and Guide Group is a family group accommodating both Scouting and Guiding units, from Beavers and Rainbows up to Scouts and Rangers. The Group promotes Scouting and Guiding in the Barming area of Maidstone. Group numbers remain good which is encouraging, but there is a continuing need for more leaders throughout the Group. All the unit lea¢Jers and helpers nave been very Ousy organising activities, Including camps, visits to wildlife and animal parks and water sports. The Group's principal sources of income are subscriptions, credits from paper recycling, hire of the hall and equipmenl. Despite increases in the running costs, the group has kept members subscriptions at the same ￿Ve1 as last year. We carried forward from 2023124 £52.5k.
