We retumed to parading in May 2021 and be8an the tssk of re¢overln8 from the thert5 of
a lon8 lockdown.
We exp*rlen¢ed a significant fall in our Gidet numbers and therefore income, but had
manged to keep a small but ¢ore team of volunteers who have been Instrumental In re-
establishing our Unlt.
Just prior to our re-openlnB, we appointed a new CornmandinB Officer ICOI, who, wlth his
team. have Introduced pro8rammes and artivitie5which ha5 ¥reatJycontributed to a steady
Increase in our Cadet and Junlor numbers.
By the end of the flnanclal year l.e.. March 2022. we had surpassed our number of Cadets
numbers on our tM)oks at the tlme of rÉNOpen1￿ l.e., May 2021.
The increase in Cadet/Junior numbers saw a correspondin8 increase in our income thus
allowlng us to again, look to investin8 In improvements to the facllltie5 and Infrastrurture.
The steady Increase In Cadetljunlor numbers contlnued throughout the year and at tlmes
we had to create a waltin8 Ilst.
The unifomied team are to be recognlsed and thanked for beln8 extremely posltlve,
supportfve and for their loyalty to TS Puma.

Sutton Sea Cadets reserve5 are held in an instsnt access Charity Bank Account.
Any use of the financial reserves must be approved by the Trustees.
Detalls of any funds materlalty In deficlt
There are no Deficit in funds. Funds for the financial year ended 31° March 2022
fell by £2414 which is attributed to an Increase of Costs which had been 'frozen'
during lockdown.
Further Flnanclal Revlew Detalls
Gr055 Income
Emer8lng from lockdown we saw a good recovery in term5 of Incorne from
subscriptions (increase in Cadet numbers) and the hire of the unlt hall.
Gross Payment
We experlenced an increase of £5k year on year which related to the
recommencement of council tax, bullding maintenance. and costs related to the
increase in staff and cadets e.8** uniforms.
Asset and Uabllltles
Emerging out of lockdown, we have seen a good recovery wlth a return to a stsble
financial posltfjon.
The bank balances noted in the accounts is as per the bank stamen. The values of
Assets is based on estlmates rnade by the Trustees.
