Our Chair 0fTn￿$ Rep)rt The Colliers Wood Community Centre continued to be operated by the Colliers Wood Community Associatio￿ which was fornied to promote the benefits of the inhabltsnts of Colliers Wood and the neighbourhood. During the year we were sad to receive the rctirement of two of our Slawek , for Mayordl duties and Tony Townsen(L who stepped dowm aft¢r many years of servAc4 We were happy to welcome two new young trustees. Melody Weston-shaw and Joel Winter. We cortinue to promote and encourage a div¢rse and inclusive ¢lientele. On behalf of the &ssocialAon, I would like to thank our partners who helped us in many ways including financial support. We could ￿allY not survive without the support of our volunteers and slaff. who dedicate their time and energy into working with our clients from Ihe baby and toddler groups right through to the senior citizens. The main responsibility of the Management Cofflmiltee is to fonnulate CWCA'S b￿sInesS and strategic plans along with the annual ixJdg¢t and regular finan¢ial monitoring.   1. GENERAL PERFORMANCE Activities AFTERNOON WHIST DRIVE This group meets onc¢ a week on a Monday afternoo￿ 1.30 to 4pm, to play whist and socialise. BADMtNTON This group meets on Sundays from 2.304.30 pm. This diverse group is open to all ages and abilities. BALLET (ADULTS) This group meets on Thursday eva)in8s. 8.15 to 9.30pm and has a tutor to t￿h all BALLROOM DANCE CLASS This group meets once a week on a Sunday from 6 to 10pm and has a tutor to teach ballroom dancin8 to be8inn¢r& intemiediat¢ and the advanced. CLIMBING WALL The climbing wall is opcn to thc public on Sundays Ixtween 2pm and 4pm. when people of all ages and abilitie5 can have a go. COLLIERS WOOD ART GROUP This group meets on Monday afternoons from 2 to 4pm. This is a small intimat¢ group, wilh some12 artists comin8 together in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere to share their knowledge and improve their skills. COLLIERS WOOD COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA This group meets on Tuesday evenings from 8pm until 9.30pm. This a I￿11 or¢he5tra which wekomes beginner4 returners and seasoned players. They have a wide rhnge of instruments and play a lively mix of music from Ba¢k to Broadway. COLLIERS WOOD UKULELE ORCHESTRA This group meets on Thursday evenings from 8.30- 10.30 pm, to practise for their concert shows, which they perfonn at various local functions and charity ¢v¢nts.

EVERY WEDNESDAY CLUB This group meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 1.30 to 3.30￿ to meet old friends and make new one4 have a cup of tea and a biscuit and play bingo. Th¢y have Bring and Buy Sales and Raffles during the year to raise funds. They are then able to have Luncheons twice a year and 80 Out for a Christmas Dinner. FUNTIME BAB Y AND TODDLER GROUP This Baby and Toddler group meets on Thursday rnorning5 from 9.30am to I1.30am, providing a safe and welcoming venue for local parents and their children to meet socially, share knowledge and ideas, and work together to provide learning oppOr￿nitieS for the many babies and toddl¢rs who atlend. FUSION This group's main f￿u$ is on bringing people to8ether. They meet every Friday for Health and Well B¢ing Sessions frorn 1- 7 pm. Thcy have tried th¢ir hand at Line Dancin& Aerobic& Polynesian Dancin& African Drum Workshops and Folk Dancing. They hav¢ a separnte session on a Wednesday for yo8alates. LADIES KEEP FIT They meet once a week on Tuesday evenin8& 8 to 9pm, with a ￿gUlar group of active members. The session is adaptsble to suit all levels of fitness and hes members of all ages. OVER 50's This group meets most Monday mornin84 from 9.30am to Ipm. They ¢njoy a k¢¢p fit session, and social interaction; a cooked lunch is partly prepared on the premises. They regularly invite visitors to take part in their various festivals. POLISH FAMILIES ASSOCIATION Fruity Fridays Baby and Toddler Group meet from 10 am until 12 noon. SEQUENCE DANCE CLUB Meet once a week on a Wedne￿aY night from 7.45 to 10pm for an enjoyable evening of dancing and socialising. They have weekly raffles and an ocw8iona] coach outing if nurnbers allow. SOUTH LONDON TAMIL WELFARE GROUP Little Tigers Karnte Class on Sundays from 10 am to Ipm.

TUESDAY AFTERNOON TEA DANCE This group meets on Tuesday allernoons from 1.30 to 4pm. to danK ￿￿[alISt, have a cup of teA meet old friends ond of ¢ourse make new one& U3A PAINTNG AND SKETCHtNG WORKSHOP This group meets alternate Thursday afternoons. It gives artists the opportunity to practice working in a style they know and to ty a m¢thod unknown lo them. U3A SCIENCE GROUP This group meets 4-we¢kly on Thursday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Meetings arc based around an illustrated tslk with contribution4 questions et¢ from the audi¢n¢¢. U3A TABLE TENNIS WEDNESDAY AND FIUDAY (The University of the Third Age) this group meets alternate Wednesdays from 9 to 11.30am and Fridays 3-5 pm. With an increasing group of active member& it houses membcrs of varying abilities, beginners, intern)ediate and advanced. They run their own in-house tOUrn8m¢nts. UNISON RETIRED MEMBERS This group gets together on the first Friday of the month from I to 4pm, to meet old friends, make new ones, socialise and 8rrang¢ rryular outings. They have quizzes, raffles, Bring and Buy Sales and ￿tch up on events over a cup of tea. They rcgularly have visiting Speakers, who cover a wide range of intcresting topics. After many years this group decided not to meet on a regular basis but just contacl members for activitt¢s. WCX)DCRAFT FOLK This group accommodates four age groups (0-5 year olds on Wedncsdays, 6-9 year olds and 13-16 yev4r olds on Thursdays and 10-12 year olds on Mondays>. The organisation encourage5 social change in children and young people and at its weekly sessions offtrs a programme including dram4 arts and crafts and co-operative games, to name but a few. The young people go campin8 in the better weather and often get together lo go ice-skating or tak¢ trips to museums ZUMBA GOLD This group meets on Tuesday mornings from 10am to10.45 am. This active s¢5sion caters to all abilities and is set to popular music, old and new. Part of the class is chair b&sed but the more ablc bodied can stand for the whol¢ class. 5. Voluntary Help A considerable amount of time is exwmled on the charity's activities which is donated free of chaT8e. It is not w>ssible to quantify the valuc of time given and ac￿rdInglY it is neither recorded as donated income not ￿ gn expense in th¢ accounts. Where income has been rcccived with conditions attxfrttl which u¢ more S￿¢lfi¢ than the general objectives of the charity, it is allixated to a restri¢tcd fund.
