All Mem1 of the Management Committee retire together at the cnd of the Annual Gencral Meeting but arc legally entitled to k re<lected or re-appointed. The Cotnmittce receives regular rqrtS on all as of CWCA'S work and meets forn)ally at least three times a ycar. A General Purffix)ses Executive Committee is called at any time to Consider urgent matters of business. The main responsibility of the Management Committee is to formulate CWCA'S business and strategic plans along with thc annual bjdgct and regular ftnanciai monitoring. Internal Controls The Trustees have overnll resry)nsibility for ensuring that CWCA has an appropriate SY¢ of controls and also reswnsible for ensuring that the funds belonging to the Charity are applied only in furthering the objectives of CWCA. - GENERAL PERFORMANCE Activiti¢S AFTERNOON WHIST DRIVE This group meets once a wcck on a Monday aftem(M)o IJO to 4pm. to play whist and s(Kialise. BADMToN This group meets on Sundays from 23(M.30 pm. This diverse group is open to all ages and abiltties. BALLET (ADULTS) This group meets on ThuTSday evening& 8.15 to 9.30pm and has a tutor to teach all abilities. BALLROOM DANCE CLASS This group meets On a week on a Sunday from 5 to 10pm and h&s a tutor to teach ballr(x)m dancing to beginner4 intennediate and the Vanced. cLIMBG WALL The climbing wall is opcn lo the publlc on Sundays Ftheen 2pm and 4pm, when people of all ages and abiltti¢s can have a go. COLLIERS W(K)D ART GROUP This group meets on Monday afternoons from 2 to 4pm. This is a small intimate group. with some 12 artists c<yming together in a relaxrt welcoming atmosphere to share their knowledge and improve their skills. COLLIERS WOOD UKULELE ORCHESTRA This group meets on Thursday evenings from 8.30- IDJO pm. to prdctI for their conc¢rt thow& which they rQrn at various local fictiOnS and charity events. EVERY WEDNESDA Y CLUB This group meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 1.30 to 3.30pm, to meet old friends and make new ones, have a cup of tea and a biscuit and play bingo. They have Bring and Buy Sales and Raffles during the year to raise fimd5. They are then able to have Lunchcons twice a year and go out for a Chrislm&s Dinner.
FuprrtME BABY AND TODDLER GROUP This Baby and Toddler group meets (yn Thursday mornings from 9.30am to l I3Oam. provsding a safe and welcoming venue for I(1 parents and their chtldren to meet 50cially. Share knowledge and ideas and work together to provide learning opportunitiC5 for the many babies and I]dIerS who attend. FUSION This group's rnain focus is on bringing wl¢ together. They meet every Friday for Health and Well Being Sessions from 1- 7 pm. They have tried their hand at Line Doncing. Aerobic4 Polynesian Dancin& African DruTn Workshops and Folk Danclng. They have a separdte session on a Wednesday for yogalates. LADIES KEEP FIT They meet once a week on Tuesday evening& 8 to 9pm, with a regular group of aetive members. The session 15 thptable to suit all levels of fitness and h&% members of all ages. MODERN JAZZ DANCE This group meets for beginners and intermediate 8-9p interniediate and advanced 9- 10pm every Monday. OVER 50's This group meets mosi Monday morning& from 93Oam to Ipm. They enjoy a keep fit scsSior and social intcraction" a cooked lunch is partly prepared on the premises. They regu13rly invifr visitors to tske part in their varioiLS feIvalS. POLISH FAMILIF.S ASSIKIATION rruity Fridays Baby and T(Mldlcr Group meet frorn 10 am until 12 noon. SEQUENCE DANCE CLUB Meet once a week on a Wednesday night from 7.45 to 10pm for an enjoyable evening of dancing and socialisiog. They have weekly rdffles and an occasional coach outing if numbers allow. SOUTH LONDON TAMIL WELFARE GROUP Little Tigers Karate Cl&ss on Sundays fmm 10 am to Ipm. TAP DANCING FOR ADULTS This group mccts weekly on a Wthesday from 7.30 to 930pm. It is a small group with thosc attending having a go(NJ time with enough Sp frir them to prdctice. TUESDAY AFfERN(N)N TEA DANCE This group meets on Tuesday aftern(K)ns from 130 to 4pm. to dance. xJcialis4 have a cup of te4 meet old friends and of course make new one
U3A PAINTING AND SKEfcHING WORKSHOP This group meets altcrnale Thursday aftemwns. It gives artists the opportunity to practice working in a stylc they know and to ty a method unknown to them. U3A SCIENCE GROUP This group mcets 4-weekly on Thursday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Meetings aTC based around an illustrad talk wtth contribution4 questions etc from thc audience. U3A SPEAKING AND DEBATING Meeting once a fortnight on Thursdays from 2 to 4pm this group has two aims and ath1viti Firstly. lo build confidence in standing up and stthing to a small group and secondly to improve debating skills. U3A TABLE TENNIS WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY {Th¢ University of the Third Age) this group meets alternate Wednesdays from 9 to 11.30am and Fridays 3-5 pm. With an increasing group of active members. it houses members of varying abilities kginners, interniediate and advanced. They run th¢ir own Trn-house toumam¢nts. UNISON RETIRED MEMBERS This group gets together on the first Friday of the month from I to 4pm. to meet old frt¢nd& rnake new ones. s(Kialise and arrange rcgular outings. They have quizzes, rdffle& Bring and Buy Sales kmd catch up on events over a Cup of te& They regularty have V15iting Speakers who coveT a wide rdnge of interesting topics. W[RAFf FOLK This group almMOdaS four age groups (¢k5 year olds on Wednesdays. (F9 year olds and 13-16 year olds on Thursdays and 10-12 year olds on Mondays). The organisation cncourages social change in children and young pp]e and at its weekly sessions offeF5 a programmc including dram4 arts and crnfts and co-operative games. to name but a few. The young people go eamping in the better weather and often gel together to go iSkating or take trips to museums 5. FtNANCIAL REVIEW The Committee receives quarterly financial reports for the PUTpose of ensuring that there is prOr monitoring 2nd control of finance Accounting Convention. These acwunts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordancc with applicable accounting stsndards and the SORP (Statement of Recommcnded Prdctice: Accounting by Charities) revised in 2005.

Voluntary H¢lp A considerable amount of time is eX)ded the charity's activities which is donated free of charge. It is not possible to quantify the value oftime giv¢n and accordingly it is neither record &8 donatoj incotne not &s an expense in the accounts. Restricted Funds Where income h&s been received with conditions attache& which are more spccific than thc general objectives of the charity. it is alliKated to a restricted fund. Subsequent exFnditure of this income is charged to the restricted fimd as it is incurrd.
