## **Trustee’s Annual Report for Sanderson Hall Tax year 24/25**

Sanderson Hall is a small community hall in St Pauls Cray in the London Borough of Bromley.

The Hall is run by David Andrew and Natasha Quinton.

David Andrew handles all bookings, does small repairs and maintenance and also is Chairman of the Committee and Natasha manages the accounts, arranges repairs and deals with the general admin associated with running the hall.

We hire the hall out to a number of community clubs including Judo, Tai Chi, Slimming World, Target Shooting, a Spiritual wellbeing group, small church group and Various other local cultural events run by members of different religions and ethnicity within our community.

We look forward to welcoming a new disabled social group in the near future too.

Sanderson Hall also rents our facility to the general public for social events including adults and children's parties, christenings and wedding receptions. We also hire out our premises to local authorities for meetings and the like.

The building is fully equipped for disabled access and we have ramps and disabled toilet facilities, we also have baby changing stations and a good sized car park with disabled bays and normal spaces to cater for all our community members that make use of the hall.

The hall contains a stage and plenty of chairs and tables to cater for any type of events and we have installed a noise limiter to make sure we are within the legal requirements of noise pollution guidelines. We have also recently upgraded our fire alarm and fire doors to maintain a high level of safety for our members of the public and have plans in place to make more improvements over the upcoming year.

We are working alongside our freeholders to make the building more cost effective and to make the premises more energy efficient. For example, we would like to install an energy efficient heating system and lighting.

We also work hard to maintain the general maintenance and upkeep of the hall and surrounding outside space.

We are constantly trying to involve members of the community to help with the running of the hall and involve themselves with future decisions. We are encouraging the members of the community to come forward and become trustees.

We meet quarterly with our committee members to discuss the running of the hall and anything we wish to change, we welcome the support of the community helping us make Sanderson Hall an asset to the community.

Yours sincerely

David Andrew
