SUMMARY OF THE MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE CHARITY IN THE YEAR
Continued regular bookings with a divefse number of dubs aThY organisations, ensuring the Hall is in
constant use by local inhabitants. Weekends see many parties for children and adurt5 and families.
Following the purchase of a stt-on mwer the field is now being kept in good condith.on under the
committee's control. The making good to Ihe area where the annual bonfire is held on the field..
We have received confimiabon that following tree reduction arcwnd the Hall, rt is now stsble with no
subsidence evident and we can make g(KKS intemally and extemally.
The upstairs meeting room is becoming more popular and the commrttee is lookiThJ to further improve
this area lo make rt mre user fn'endly.
BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE CHARITY.

The Charity m8inlains a general fund and a reserve fvjnd. the lattef beiThJ fvnded pnmarily by volunteer
fundraising events.
The charity's policy is to hold al leasl 6 months running expenses as a reserve in the general fund.
The charity's aim is to hold al least £25k in the reserve fvnd to provide running costs for the annual
bonfire night which is the Irusl's major fijndraiser. As this Bonfire nNJht will not be held in the year
2024 due to several ciroJmstances. Ihe cAJmmittee is aware of conlinuing lo review inccfft from hires
to ensure Hall running is sustainat4e.

PECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEE
AND EXAMENER
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees
consider that an audtt is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011
(the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to
examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act
to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charities
Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act), and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention

My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration
of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seekinbT explanations from the ttustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not piovide all the evidence that
would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts
present a "true and fair" view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement
below.
