The Steels were<br>made by whittling<br>ahandle tothe correct size, drilling<br>ahole forthe<br>actual Steel and Exing this securely to the handle. The sticker was<br>then made from asmall pair ofscissors. When complete the Scouts<br>used their own Steels to light aBre.|

|Cubs celebrated Chinese New Year, pradised<br>night time road safety<br>skills, hekl an international<br>cooking competition,<br>learnt about<br>astronomy forthe ashunamy<br>badge and practised their Erst aid.|
|Beavers celebrated Chinese New Year and went on an exciting night<br>navigation<br>with 'muddy<br>manoeuvres<br>around Pishiobury<br>Park.<br>Everybody<br>practised and made cooking pancakes when itcame to<br>celebrating<br>Shrove Tuesday|
|Then in March 2020with national lockdown's<br>being imposed due to<br>Covtd-19 scouting moved tovirtual delivery thmugh<br>the use ofthe<br>Sawbridgewarth<br>Scout Slog and Zoom meetings<br>were scheduled far<br>all Sections.|
|As time progress'<br>the Zoom meetings became more adventurous<br>and<br>included badges (e.g.Meteorologist<br>badge), crazy challenges like<br>malang aTower using Spaghetti and Jelly Babies!Or Scavenger hunts<br>and playing games, Bingo became one ofthe Scout favourites,<br>Events also included a Virtual Camp and 'Rate My Bake' baking<br>competition<br>swiiftly followed.|
|Face-to-f'ace StGeorges Day was unfortunately<br>cancelled but an|
|online version was undertaken<br>in conjunction<br>wifh the Scouting<br>Association doing aBike to the Moon. Further district level events|
|included a'Design aBadge'.|
|Cubs and Scouts mturned<br>to sociaBy distanced face-tfPface scauting<br>in September —November<br>2020with Bush Craft in Priory Woods, a|
|Scout cycle along the Hitch Way, and campgres in the Scout hut|
|grounds.|
|Zoom meetings<br>returned<br>again in December 2020with virhaal parties<br>held toclase out the year.|
