Chairnian's Annual Report
Although experienced the resurgen￿ of COVKI durirKJ the final quarter of 2021, ￿sIneSS at the
hall wasn't urKluly affected. As I write, the t￿nty is experien¢ing wroximately 150,0(K)+ new
infectsons per day. wth a total of nearfy 14,(Kl),O(X) cases reported &ross th8 UK during 2021.1
hope that We shall be ab￿ to conts'nue to keep the hall fully open duriro the coming weeks and
months.
Our quiz noht in November was very successful. attr*irKJ a c4>aaty audien(x. It was suggested
that pert￿p5 people were keen to be 'out aid in the community after th8 Covid restrbth"ons.
The hall was actively Invo￿ed in the Scarecrow festival in th8 summer ￿1¢h was 8xtremely
successful, raising funds for the Churth. Ihe Hall other *fjrthy projecas in local communty.
We also participated in the 'L￿htIng ￿ for Chrisknas. evert with giant ¢￿dteS placed around the
hall and SUrr￿ndIng areas.

Pam Giles retired as the hall booking secretary after 25 years of Se￿ICe. Ali Geller has stepped in,
in a temporary capacity, until the (￿line system is operational.

the lockdown.
