Notes:
-
1 Land at Harry's Island was valued in September 2014 by CMC Andrews (Property Surveyor & Valuer). The trustees consider this valuation to remain a reasonable assessment of the value of the land at 31 March 2021.
-
2 The value of badges held in stock for resale is calculated by the badge secretary at current cost of badges held at 31 March.
-
3 During the year the District shop was closed. All remaining stock was donated to other Scout retail outlets for a nominal sum.
-
4 For a number of years land at Stride's Lane owned by the District has been used by Poulner Scout Group free of charge. This land had been largely forgotten about and was held at its fully depreciated original value. As Poulner Scout Group no longer need this space the land has been valued for sale and this estimated valuation has been added to the assets of the District in the 2021 statements.
